Joseph C. Lucas is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Joseph C. Lucas & Associates. Joe represents title agencies, mortgage brokers, loan officers, hedge funds, banks, credit unions, private hard money lenders, property managers, developers, investors, building contractors, landlords, tenants, realtors, and others in all manner of matters related to Ohio real estate and the state and federal regulatory framework that burdens real estate-related industries.
Prior to founding the firm, Joe worked as an associate in the real estate department of Frost Brown Todd, a Cincinnati-based law firm, and served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. Joe attended college on an Air Force ROTC scholarship.

Kelly A. Bennington is an attorney in the Law Office of Joseph C. Lucas & Associates. Kelly joined the firm in November of 2010, bringing with her several years of experience in the fields of domestic relations law and consumer bankruptcy law. Kelly's practice within the firm's Domestic Relations Group encompasses all areas of divorce, dissolution, property division, child support, spousal support, and parental rights/responsibilities. Kelly is also responsible for managing the firm's Consumer Bankruptcy Group which assists individuals with filing for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy and restructuring their credit. Prior to joining the firm Kelly worked at the Dayton law firm of Altick & Corwin Co., L.P.A.
Kelly received her B.S. cum laude from Miami University in 2004, where she majored in human resource management and minored in business legal studies. She earned her law degree from The University of Dayton School of Law and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio in November of 2007.
During her spare time Kelly serves on the Dayton Ballet Associate Board, the Associate Board for the Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Steering Committee for JumpsArt, and the Board for the Cannery Art + Design Center. Kelly also acts in various community theatre productions.
